AT&T's Technology Development Program (TDP) is an international two-year full-time program designed for junior-level professionals to join the AT&T Israel R&D global teams as fully-paid employees.

Our Technology Development Program (TDP) cultivates AT&T’s future technology leaders. Over the course of a 2-year program, TDP participants gain experience in various roles within the development lifecycle, develop innovative solutions, and bring their vision while building the future.

Everything you need to know

What is the duration of the TDP program, and what does it include?

The program duration is two years, after which you stay in development teams and continue working in AT&T. The program starts with about 8 weeks of training, focusing on technical and personal skills. Afterwards, you will join one of our engineering teams with a mentor to guide you and continue growing through real-world projects.

Is the program hybrid?

During training period (around 8 weeks), it is full-time onsite at the AT&T Israel R&D Center in Airport City. After the training period, currently, office days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Days and location might change per the company’s needs.

Where is the program conducted?

The initial training takes place at the AT&T Israel R&D Center, located in Airport City. After this, participants will meet as a group once a week at the office.
We also have an office in ToHa TLV, and the work will be from both offices (depending on the company’s needs).

When does the program officially start?

Which technologies and tools will I learn and use during the program?

You will gain experience with Java (Spring Boot), JavaScript, TypeScript and React.js. The program emphasizes modern development practices such as testing, CI/CD, Docker, SOLID principles, and clean code.

What happens after the initial 8-week training period?

After training, you will join an engineering team to work on real projects. You will continue learning and growing, with the help of a mentor. You will have the opportunity to work with more than one team on more than one product during the program.

Can I apply if I have no prior programming experience?

Yes, you can apply if you meet both of the below requirements:
1. You have a degree (or will graduate in 2025) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field
2. You have 0-2 years of experience in SW development

How many steps are there in the recruitment process, and what do they include?

- Application: Applications are open for around 48 hours.
- Online Assessment: May include questions on algorithms, data structures, databases, and problem-solving.
- Homework: A programming task you can do at home
- Technical Interview: Questions may be focused on your homework, and data structures, algorithms, databases, OOP, and system design, but not exclusively.
- HR Interview: We will get to know you. We will talk about your skills, experience, and goals.
- Final Interview: With the program lead, covering technical and personal skills.
- Job Offer: If successful, you will get an offer to join TDP!

How can I best prepare for each step of the recruitment process?

For the technical steps, focus on solving “Leetcode” questions, algorithms, data structures and OOP.
For the personal steps - just be yourself! We want to know you better, and understand your experiences (e.g. teamwork, overcoming challenges, leadership)
